Soulfly announce UK tour and new album

SOULFLY have announced a UK tour to precede the release of their tenth studio album, ‘Archangel’, which is set for release via Nuclear Blast Records on 14th August.

Legendary frontman, Max Cavalera comments, “I’m thrilled about the upcoming Soulfly tour!  For the first time in the UK, I will be playing with both of my sons, Zyon and Igor (of Lody Kong)!   You probably will never see this lineup again!  I am also excited to play something from my new release, Archangel!  I’m looking forward to seeing the Tribe there!”

‘Archangel’ was produced and mixed by Matt Hyde (Slayer, Monster Magnet) and will be available for pre-order soon at iTunes and Amazon, with special packages over at http://www.nuclearblaststore.co.uk/shop/nuclearblast/.
Max told US rock site, Groovey.TV that “[Archangel is a] really cool record. [It’s] very exotic, mystic, really biblical. [It’s] very, very heavy again.  It’s very influenced by the stuff I listen to right now, 1349 and Belphegor, Behemoth… I’ve been listening to a lot of death metal.  Don’t ask me why.  I don’t know why.  I just fucking love the extremity of it. So, yeah, it’s gonna be a really cool record.  It’s our tenth record and I’m very excited for this album. And then I will tour for ‘Archangel’ probably for the next year and a half, two years, non-stop.”
